ECAR 2004 REALTOR® Of The Year
Norm Krayem, Past President and member of the REALTOR® of the Year Committee, announced the REALTOR® of the Year as the final agenda item at the REALTOR® of the Year and Agent Appreciation Night at the Seamen’s Inne in Mystic on June 10, 2004.
In his remarks he said, "ECAR’s selection for REALTOR® of the Year is known to many of us who have had the pleasure of working and co-broking with our REALTOR® on many occasions. Our REALTOR® has an impressive record of accomplishments and has stepped forward whenever the need has arisen. Our REALTOR® has served on multiple committees for ECAR such as the Golf Committee (for fun), the Finance Committee, the Strategic Planning Committee, and the Nominating Committee. Our REALTOR® has served on the Connecticut Association of REALTORS® (CAR) Board of Directors and CAR’s Professional Standards Committee."
"Our REALTOR® was a leader in alerting the public of the impending increase in the conveyance tax and spoke at town meetings against the unfair tax and its impact on our senior citizens. Our REALTOR® is a volunteer fundraiser for the American Heart Association and Project Safe Graduation."
"Our REALTOR® is currently chairing our Facilities Task Force, and is serving on our Board of Directors, She previously served as Secretary and President Elect and was President of ECAR in 2003. If you haven’t guessed who she is by now, it is my pleasure to introduce Licia Sas as ECAR’s REALTOR® of the Year for 2004."
Prior to Norm’s announcement, Executive Vice President John Bolduc announced that Norm Krayem was chosen as ECAR’s nominee for the 2004 State REALTOR® of the Year. His active participation on CAR committees and his tireless work last year on the conveyance tax issue makes him a strong candidate.
