Realty Executives of S.E.C.T
ECAR 2001 REALTOR® Of The Year

Americus on the Wharf in Norwich was the setting for the 2001 REALTOR® Of The Year presentation. Ron Bates, 2000 REALTOR® Of The Year presented the award to Norman Krayem, owner of Realty Executives of S.E.C.T. in Groton, CT.
In his opening remarks Ron Bates characterized Norm as an "ethical, hardworking professional….who should serve as a source of inspiration for both beginners and seasoned agents alike." He went on to say that Norm is "always looking for ways to better and more efficiently serve his clients. He embraces technology and change."

Active in civic and association affairs, Norm has been a member of the Association since 1973. He is currently President of ECAR, sits on the ECRIS Board of Directors, is Chairman of the Technology and Business Planning Committees and a member of the Grievance and Finance Committees. He also serves as a CAR State Director and is President of the Southeastern Connecticut Commercial Investment Division. He is also a member of the Mystic Rotary Club and has served as Vice Chairman and Secretary of the Ledyard Economic Development Commission.

In addition to running his office and taking care of his civic and association commitments, Norm found time to do an excellent job as serving as the Association’s Executive Vice President while ECAR was without an EVP for the first three months of 2001.

Congratulations, Norm!
